The Nature of Artful Illustration: Stories in Pictures for Middle Schoolers

Middle schoolers are invited to create an illustration that brings their favorite story or their wildest ideas to life. Instructor Eben Taylor is a storyteller and animator who has been crafting and illustrating narratives since 2009. A graduate of Massachusetts College of Art and Design with a BFA in Animation, his favored mediums are stop motion and 2D animation, utilizing mixed media methods whenever possible. Eben currently teaches art and animation skills in a K-12 setting and directs non-profit multi-animator projects. Materials provided by The Umbrella. Location: Umbrella Classroom, 2nd Floor
